Police are seeking help from the public as they investigate a hit-and-run incident that occurred more than six weeks ago in Beenleigh.
a 50-year-old Beenleigh woman, driving a blue Mazda 3, was giving way to traffic at the intersection of Harburg Drive and Logan River Road when she was allegedly hit from behind by a dark coloured 4WD.
The incident occurred just after 5:30pm on Friday May 14.
The 4WD then turned around and drove off in a southerly direction down Harburg Drive.
The woman received treatment at the scene for chest injuries.
Police are asking for anyone who witnessed the crash, or with dashcam footage of the dark coloured 4WD to contact police.
