A police investigation is underway after a man sustained a suspected gun shot wound in Springwood early this morning.
Emergency services were called to a location at the rear of a business on Dennis Road around 2 am where a 21-year-old man was located with injuries to his back and abdomen.
He was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition, however his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident or has dashcam footage that was taken between 1 am and 3 am that shows a gold coloured Toyota CHR wagon to come forward.
