A 41 year old woman has been granted probation as well as being given a 20-thousand dollar damages bill over a drink driving incident from late last year.
The Crestmead local pleaded guilty in the Beenleigh Magistrates court recently to charges of dangerous operation of a vehicle and driving a motor vehicle while over the middle alcohol limit.
The court was told, just days before Christmas last year, the woman crashed her vehicle on Chambers Flat Road in Waterford West.
The crash destroyed a power pole and caused significant damage to multiple vehicles.
She was sentenced to 12 months’ probation and disqualified from driving for 12 months.
