Queensland authorities have raised fresh concerns about the high number of Covid 19 cases creeping up from New South Wales into border communities.
Border restrictions remain in place between the Scenic Rim and New South Wales with locals being advised NOT to cross over.
Eight communities in western New South Wales are now in lockdown however officials say there’ve been NO cases of CoronaVirus in the Northern Rivers and Tweed.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk is pleading with Queensland’s border communities to avoid travelling into New South Wales.
