The Queensland Government has confirmed the water-bombing aircraft that was extensively used in the Scenic Rim during last year’s bushfire threat – will arrive in Australia by the end of the month.
The Large Air Tanker (LAT) is a Conair Q400 prop aircraft which was used extensively in last year’s Kooralbyn bushfire.

“I’m advised the LAT is soon to touch down in Queensland. This is great news.
