A father of one from South Maclean has been charged with multiple offences after allegedly striking up an online relationship with a teenage girl before committing indecent acts.
38 year old Geoff Ian Geisseler, appeared in custody in Beenleigh Magistrates Court yesterday charged with grooming a child under 16 years of age, using the internet to procure children under 16 and two counts of indecent treatment of a child under 16.
The court heard the alleged victim is a 13-year-old girl who met Geisseler on a public bus travelling from her home to Brisbane city.
The magistrate denied Geisseler‘s request for bail and his matters were adjourned to October 24.
