If you intend driving south on the M1 from Logan City this morning police are urging you to avoid the motorway because a truck protest has caused massive congestion.
The ‘Freedom of Choice Rally’ started at 6am.
The truck drivers are calling for the rules surrounding mandatory vaccines for essential workers to be scrapped and for the country to open back up again.

Traffic diversions are now in place near exit 86 at Reedy Creek and police say you should avoid the area.
