An elderly woman is recovering in Logan Hospital after she was bitten by a snake early this morning.
Paramedics were sent to her Eagleby home around 2.30 after the incident was reported.
They assessed the woman in her seventies for a bite to one of her feet before taking her to the hospital for further treatment.
She’s understood to be in a stable condition.
The type of snake which bit her was not reported.
