Windaroo State School in Logan City can reopen after receiving the all clear from Queensland Health.
About 960 families were ordered to isolate because a four-year-old girl with COVID-19 had attended the Boulevard Early Learning Centre at Mount Warren Park.
The early learning centre is also used as after-school care for Windaroo State School.
All 36 children who attend after-school care at the early learning centre have now tested negative for COVID-19, but Chief Health Officer Dr Jeanette Young says those families will need to stay in quarantine for 14 days because the early learning centre remains a close contact location.
