An unborn baby has died as the result of a horrifying crash at Chambers Flat yesterday afternoon.
Just after 5.30pm, a Subaru Forrester travelling west along Chambers Flat Road when it crossed onto the wrong side of the road and collided with a Toyota RAV4.
The 25-year-old man driving the Forrester suffered minor injuries while a 25 year old woman, was transported to hospital in a serious condition. Her unborn child died.
Two boys, aged eight and two, were also travelling in the same car. The two-year-old received minor injuries while the eight-year-old was transported to hospital suffering serious injuries.
The sole occupant of the Toyota RAV4, a 44-year-old woman, was also transported to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Crash investigators are appealing to anyone who has footage or witnessed the crash to come forward.
