A family’s home of 18 years has been badly damaged after being engulfed by flames in Rochedale South yesterday afternoon.
Five crews were sent to the address in Visser Crescent arriving about 3.40pm to battle the blaze inside the brick home.
It was brought under control in just over 20 minutes after causing extensive damage.
Police and fire fighters believe the fire started in the living and kitchen area, but investigations are still underway.
The home has been declared a crime scene and investigations into the reasons behind the blaze.
