Queensland Health has added close and casual COVID-19 sites at Meadowbrook, Crestmead and Browns Plains to its contact tracing list.
Logan Hospital in Meadowbrook is the latest close and casual contact site for COVID-19.
Anyone who was in the Orange/COVID section of the Emergency Department between 7:25 and 4pm last Sunday must quarantine and get tested.
The Logan Metro Sports and Event Centre, 357 Browns Plains Rd, Crestmead, was deemed a close and casual contact site on Thursday December 16, from 6.30pm to 9pm.
All people on-court have been identified as a close contact, while all spectators and those not on-court have been identified as a casual contact.
The Respond Global Health Centre,Browns Plains Grand Plaza, 49 Browns Plains Road was deemed a casual contact site on Saturday December 18 from 9.50am and 12pm.
If you were at these location at the mentioned times, you must immediately travel by private transport directly to your home or accommodation and quarantine, get tested at your earliest opportunity, complete the relevant contact form online, if you are unable to complete the contact tracing form please call 134 COVID (134 268), continue to quarantine even after receiving a negative result, continue to monitor for symptoms while you quarantine.
After you complete the contact tracing form you will be contacted by Queensland Health.
If you become symptomatic get tested and continue to quarantine.
If you test positive, you will be contacted by Queensland Health.
It comes as Queensland Health adds locations at Browns Plains and Greenbank to its contact tracing list, with two new locations deemed casual contacts.
The exposure site has been identified as quarantine requirements change for fully vaccinated people who have come into contact with a COVID-19 case.
As of 1am today, the quarantine period for close contacts has been halved from 14 days to seven days.
