Beaudesert is expected to come under threat from floodwaters tonight as the heavy rainfall causes rapid river and creek level rises in the Logan and Albert rivers.
The Bureau of Meteorology says the Logan River at Beaudesert may exceed the major flood peak of 8.3 metres.
Moderate flooding might also occur at Wolffdene tonight.

The Logan River at Maclean Bridge is currently below the minor level of at 5.39 metres and rising and it’s likely to reach the minor flood level of ten metres tomorrow morning.
At Waterford the river is currently at 2.25 metres and rising and it’s likely to remain below the minor flood level of six metres over the next few days.
The Logan River at Parklands is currently at 1.39 metres and falling with the tide.
Moderate flooding may also occur along the Albert River at Wolffdene.
The river level may reach moderate flood level of eight metres tonight.
The Albert River at Beenleigh is currently below the minor level of 2.07 metres and rising and may reach the minor flood level of 3.5 metres tonight.
