A 29-year-old man will face Beenleigh Magistrates Court today charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and contravention of a domestic violence order.
It comes after the violent assault of a 76-year-old man in Logan Village last Sunday night.
The victim was involved in a fight with the accused near a Camp Cable Road home.
He sustained serious head and chest injuries during the fight and was taken by ambulance to Logan Hospital in a serious but stable condition
