Logan Police, in partnership with Logan City Council and Bunnings, will fix anti-theft screws to cars at Browns Plains this morning.
Police will be offering and fitting free one-way anti-theft screws to your vehicle registration plates at Bunnings Browns Plains this morning, from 9am to 11am.
Anti-theft screws are a fantastic crime prevention resource which is aimed at protecting your number plates from being removed and stolen from your vehicle and used in vehicle-related offences.
Logan District has the largest ‘Safe Plate’ project in the state and we need your help to continue securing plates across our district to deter thieves and continue to reduce this type of offending.
Additional crime prevention resources will be made available on the day so don’t hesitate, put your foot on the brake and call in on the date.
