Police have charged a man and a girl following an alleged armed robbery in Sunnybank on Logan’s outskirts overnight.
It’s alleged the 19-year-old man and 17-year-old girl went to a Mulgowie Street home to buy some mobile phones at about 10.30pm, posing as buyers, and fled the property toward a nearby park with the phones without paying for them.
It’s further alleged the 37-year-old Sunnybank man, who was attempting to sell the phones, gave chase and in a fight that followed he sustained several stab wounds to his forehead, lower back and abdomen
The 19-year-old man is due to appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court today and the 17-year-old girl will front the Richlands Children’s Court.
