Luke Howarth encourages school leavers to attend Gold Coast Jobs Fair

School leavers in Logan who haven’t found a job yet are encouraged to come to the Gold Coast Jobs next Friday at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Attendees will learn valuable skills about employability and may even meet their new boss.

The Jobs Fair is an initiative from the Federal Government getting people who are looking for work, or haven’t been in the job market for some time connected with jobs on the day.

Federal Assistant Minister for Youth and Employment Services. Luke Howarth says its an opportunity not to be missed

“To those students, don’t miss the jobs fair as we don’t know when it will be

“Come along, bring a resume and come smartly dressed, “There will be a 2000 jobs on the day, and 60 exhibits to take part in.

“Don’t worry if you are nervous as everyone is.

“Right now it’s an employees market. Employers are looking for people so it’s a real opportunity to change your life!”

Over 2000 jobs will be up for grabs on the day, with 60 employers attending.

Attendees will need to bring both digital and hard copies of their resumes.

You can also book a free one-on-one session on the day to have your résumé reviewed or have some interview practice with an experienced consultant.
