Fire relief for Scenic Rim

It seems crews have gained the upper hand as they continue to battle a bushfire in the Scenic Rim, largely thanks to helpful showers over the past 24 hours.

As at 3pm Tuesday,  Queensland Fire and Emergency Services confirmed,  there are no properties under threat, but crews remain at the scene.

Bushfire warning level: ADVICE

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) advises there is a large bushfire is burning in the vicinity of Green Hills Road between Kooralbyn and Allandale.

You need to keep up to date and decide what actions you will take if the situation changes.

At last report from the QFES,  a large bushfire is burning in the vicinity of Green Hills Road between Kooralbyn and Boonah and is burning in a northwesterly direction towards Allandale.

Multiple Rural Fire Service crews are on scene attempting to contain the fire. Isolated properties between Kooralbyn and Allandale may come under threat of the fire, however fire crews and aircraft are working to identify those properties and take appropriate protective action.
