Restrictions for next two weeks in Logan City

From 12 noon today, the Greater Brisbane lockdown will be lifted, including Logan City, but some restrictions will remain in place for all of Queensland until Thursday April 15.

From 12 noon today:

  • You must carry a mask with you whenever you leave your home
  • You must wear a face mask at all indoor public spaces and outdoors when you cannot socially distance
  • Cafés and restaurants can return to seated eating and drinking. No standing or dancing
  • Businesses can re-open with one person per 2m²
  • 30 people can gather at your home
  • 500 people can gather in public spaces (outdoors)
  • Weddings are allowed 200 guests
  • Outdoor events can go ahead with a COVID-safe plan, but masks must be worn if social distancing isn’t possible
  • Church services will be allowed 100% occupancy with ticketed or allocated seating or adhering to the one per 2m² rule
  • Restrictions on aged care, hospitals, disability care and correctional facilities will apply with no personal visitors allowed during this period.

These restrictions will be reviewed in two weeks.

Important to also:

  • stay home if you are sick
  • check-in to all venues you visit
  • keep 1.5m away from others
  • wash your hands often
  • get tested if you have symptoms, no matter how mild
