Restrictions will ease across the southeast later this afternoon as Queensland goes another day with zero COVID-19 cases.
Logan, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Moreton Bay,Townsville and Palm Island will come into line with the rest of Queensland at 4pm.
It means pubs, cafés and restaurants will return to 1 person per 2 square metres indoors and outdoors.
Up to 100 people can gather in homes, with no limit for people gathering in public spaces.
Visitors will be permitted at aged care, correctional centres, hospitals and disability service centres.
Up to 200 people will be able to attend funerals and weddings, and all wedding guests can dance and stadiums will be able to operate at full capacity
Mask rules will also ease with the requirements about wearing them while seated at indoor venues now scrapped.
However, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk is urging Queenslanders to continue wearing their masks wherever they can.
Mask rules at schools will also be easing with students only needing to wear them while going in and out of school rooms.
Teachers will be allowed to remove masks when at the front of the class teaching and students will be allowed to remove them when they’re seated.
Those rules come into effect when school restarts next week.
