In Beaudesert and need sand bags?

With a flood warning now issued for the Logan River and the level at Beaudesert expected to reach above the major flood level of 8.3 metres,the S.E.S. has offered proactive assistance for locals.

Empty hessian bags for sandbagging are available at the Tamborine Mountain Depot on Knoll Street.

The depot is open between 6am and 3pm.
If you live near Beaudesert, hessian bags will also be available out the front of the SES Beaudesert Shed at 41/43 Brayford Street.
They don’t supply sand but at pinch you can use soil from your garden.
132 500 is the number to call if you need the assistance of the State Emergency Service in non-life-threatening emergency situations, during floods and storms.
If the situation is life threatening, always call Triple Zero (000).
SES Volunteers carry out temporary repairs to help people protect themselves and their property from further damage in extreme weather conditions.
