You may want to check with your electricity provider about whether you’re entitled to a discount in your next power bill.
The Energy regulator has proposed a fall in the rate, which applies to customers across Logan City and the Scenic Rim who don’t shop around for the best deals.
It could mean a discount of 69 dollars for residential customers and more than $300 for small business.
Such discounts would kick-in from July the first.
