An unvaccinated Indigenous resident who tested positive for COVID 19 in Warwick has put the town on high alert.
The Warwick case is linked to an outbreak of the virus in the northern New South Wales town of Moree and the person was infectious in the community for up to ten days.
The Condamine Sports Club between 1pm and 2pm on November 2 and the Warwick RSL between 8.40pm and 9.10pm on November 3 have been listed as casual exposure sites.
Anyone who has been in these locations at the relevant times must immediately return to their home or accommodation and quarantine, then get a COVID-19 test at the earliest opportunity.
Residents may exit quarantine once they receive a negative test result.
No other Warwick venues have been listed by Queensland Health at this stage.

A public pop-up drive-through testing clinic is now open at Warwick Showgrounds until 4pm everyday until further notice.
The outdoor testing clinic at Warwick Hospital has been temporarily closed in anticipation of significant wet weather over the next several days.
