COVID-19 infections have risen again in Logan in the last 24 hours.
According to Queensland Health 8,456 people caught the virus overnight which is a jump of 1,275 infections.
47 got it from overseas, 37 locally from someone they know, 16 from someone they don’t know, 12 from interstate and 8,344 are under investigation .
COVID-19 cases have risen in the Scenic Rim by another 9 overnight.
In that Local Government area 336 additional people are infected with the virus. Four got it whilst overseas, the same number became infected from a person they know and one person got it from a stranger.
Queensland Health is trying to establish how 327 other people became infected.
The state is inching closer to 90 per cent fully vaccinated with 91.23 per cent having had their first dose.
More than 748,000 boosters have now been administered across Queensland.
