An incident in the early hours of Thursday at Slacks Creek resulted in a man being taken to hospital with head and chest injuries.
Paramedics, including critical care and the high acuity response unit, were called to a private address a little after 2:30 Thursday morning where they treated the man before taking him to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane where he is in a serious but stable condition.
The injured man did not want to press charges, so Logan police didn’t take it any further.
In other news, two teenagers are in hospital after a car crashed into a pole at Crestmead just after 4am Thursday.
Both were taken to the PA Hospital, one in a serious condition with head injuries, while the other was in a stable condition.
And earlier on Wednesday night, a man in his 20s escaped serious injury when his car also ran into a pole in Loganholme.
