About 30 percent of retailers are now charging $1.50 or more for unleaded fuel.

“You should still be able to find some cheap petrol” according to the RACQ’s Vivien O’Connor.
“Try to aim for a $1.12 per litre” she said.
An independent search has found many service stations selling fuel at $1.53 but it’s the Independents that once again are holding off any such price hike at the pump.
