A Logan City teenager has been charged over a series of traffic and property offences across the Brisbane region.

The 17-year old from South Maclean and a 15-year old boy from Rocklea are charged with stealing two Mercedes-Benz cars and an SUV from Eight Mile Plains on Thursday and then leading police on a long chase before they were finally stopped on the M1 at Woolloongabba.

Police also allege the two teenagers were involved in a burglary at another Eight Mile Plains premises on Thursday, as well as stealing a Honda hatchback at Sunnybank on Wednesday night.

Both have appeared in the children’s magistrates court and were remanded in custody.
