Police have asked for patience, now that the Queensland border has closed to all of New South Wales.
New South Wales recorded 124 cases yesterday, while the Sunshine State has had zero.
Deputy Police Commissioner Steve Gollschewski admits there there will be delays today:
A bubble has been put in place again, to allow residents living near the border to cross over for essential reasons.
Goondiwindi Regional Council has already confirmed with Police about the operation of the local electronic solution for the unmanned border crossing closures into the region.
Access via the unmanned crossings is strictly limited to approved residents.
All other traffic must continue to enter the region via the manned police checkpoints.
