Logan City mayor Darren Power spoke out at today’s ordinary council meeting encouraging locals to get vaccinated against Covid-19 as soon as they are eligible to.

“We are all in this together,” Mayor Power said.

“With three Australian states now in lockdown I want to take some time today to turn our thoughts and prayers to those impacted.

“My thoughts go out to those who are feeling isolated.

“The best thing we can do to play our part, our best offence against the virus and another lockdown is more people getting the vaccine.

“If you are eligible for the vaccine please book in.

“I’ve seen so many Logan residents already lining up for the vaccine hub run by Queensland Health just next door at the Logan Entertainment Centre.

“Remember we are all relying on each other to do their bit.”
