Logan City police have launched a new motorcycle safety initiative.
Officials have launched “How to keep it up-right” courses.
The move follows statistics showing 51 riders have died on Queensland roads this year, including 12 in the South-East police district which takes in Logan City and the Gold Coast.
Officers in Jimboomba have organised the safety courses which are open to all riders from beginners to the well advanced rider.
The initiative is supported by State Government funding.
