Children in Logan City have no need to worry about boredom these school holidays, with a series of workshop programmes running online from September 20 to September 30.
The workshops on offer will include classes with award-winning author and illustrator Martin Chatterton, the creator of the Bluenose television series.
The British writer has authored children’s books for different ages and illustrated more than 100 books for other writers.
His illustrations in this series accompany poems by British poet Paul Cookson, and he will offer drawing tips and illustrations for class attendees.
Children can also borrow free science and robotic kits, as well as craft take-home packs for the duration of the holiday break.
For those learning to code, STEM Punks online classes are the perfect way to get ahead for children aged eight and over.
Young adult job seekers from 14 to 18 years will be able to access free Digital Springboard session offering help with resumes and interviews.
A “Build your CV” session will be held on September 22 and there will also be an interview skills session on September 29. Both sessions will run from 1.30pm to 3pm.
Bookings are essential for all online events and can be made at Logan Libraries
