Two fires and a car crash in Logan City have kept paramedics busy since late yesterday.
At 5.44 pm paramedics, including a critical care officer, transported a female in her 40s to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition with superficial burns to her face and an arm following a bonfire explosion on a property at Greenbank
And at 12.30 this morning they assessed a person at the scene of a house fire in Waterford.
The fire destroyed the home but the patient didn’t require transport to hospital.
Paramedics have also been attending multiple crashes in the wet conditions including a two vehicle smash on Copperfield Drive in Eagleby at 2.15am
As a result a man was taken to Logan Hospital in a stable condition suffering from lower limb injuries.
