The wonderful world of Logan’s Sensory & Me

Loganholme local Kylie Williams opened her unique shop, Sensory & Me, after seeing a need for the products in the industry.

The local store is a provider of a large range of sensory resources, educational supplies and equipment that are ideal for individuals with autism, anxiety or sensory processing disorders.

“The store itself has been around for about eight months, but we started off online prior to that, for a few years,” Kylie says.

“We were in the manufacturing industry as well, so we were manufacturing products, and we thought why not step into it, and it’s just grown from there,” she says.

Kylie says customers love the physical store, so they can come in and feel products, to make sure that it’s exactly what they want.

“Being sensory products, everyone’s needs are completely different,” Kylie says.

“It’s different to buying online and wondering if it’s the right product, until it arrives.

Clocks and timers, oral care, aromatherapy and auditory products are part of the varied and broad range customers can choose from at Sensory & Me.

“We bundled a heap of products together so that people can come to us with a problem and hopefully we can offer an easy solution,” she says.

“All of us that work inside the store have children with special needs, so all the products are tried and tested before we provide them.”
