Plans have been lodged with Logan City Council to build a $10 million tavern and shopping centre complex at Beenleigh.
Council received an application from developer Start Logan River Road Pty Ltd, in January, seeking to establish a Showroom, Hotel, Bar, Food and Drink Outlet, Health Care Services, Indoor Sport and Recreation, Low Impact Industry, Warehouse and Office on 39-49 Logan River Road in Beenleigh.
The proposed development includes tavern space for 1,635m2 and retail warehouse space for 4,843m2.
The design of the development has provisions for 212 parking spaces, with 50 parking bays at the rear of the warehouse building and the remainder to the south-western portion of the site between the tavern and warehouse buildings, with access provided via Spanns Road and Logan River Road.
The tavern is expected to open from 10am to 4am Monday to Sunday, while the retail warehouses are expected to trade from 6am to 10pm Monday to Sunday.
The code assessable application is currently pending a Referral Agency response.
The proposal will be decided on at a later date.
