A Loganholme florist has urged loved-up residents to stay away from online suppliers and shop local this Valentine’s Day.
The Flower Crews Original owner Vanessa Parks says shoppers will get the best products and more value for money, supporting local.
Ms Parks says this year’s Valentine Day is shaping up to be a good day of trade.
“We’re busy as, it is going to be a crazy day.
“Valentine’s Day is huge.”
Ms Parks says the COVID-19 pandemic has failed to impact Valentine’s Day trade.
“We’ve been very fortunate the last two years with COVID, we were extremely busy both years, we have huge local support.”
Ms Parks says the business adopted, to continue trading in a COVID Safe manner.
“We cater for everyone, we offer contactless delivery, everyone is wearing masks, we’re not feeling anything different from the past two years.
“People are still coming into the stores to pick-up, especially our tradies and workers, but we are delivering across Logan and Brisbane.
“We have over 100 deliveries going out today.”
A uniquely local operation, Ms Parks says Flower Crews Original is Australia’s only self-serve florist.
“If we’re not here, you can actually come in, buy your own flowers and off you go.
“We’re very fortunate that everyone has shown their support for us.”
