Emergency alert issued for three Logan suburbs

An emergency alert has been issued by the Logan Local Disaster Management Group to people in Park Ridge, Beenleigh and Loganholme.

Logan River flooding is now forecast to exceed 2017 flood levels. 

The river level at Maclean Bridge is expected to rise today to 1.5 metres above the 2017 flood level and the same level is expected tomorrow at Waterford.

Residents are advised to plan and act for their safety. Remember – if it’s flooded, forget it. 

Stay up to date with the latest information from the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM).
