Logan Police joined forces with a good samaritan to rescue a woman and her four pets from a flooded South Maclean home on Tuesday.
The 50-year-old woman, as well as her three dogs and cat became isolated, after rapidly rising flood water inundated her home.
Police used the assistance of a local man and his boat to get to the location, as it was inaccessible by vehicle.
The woman and her companions were rescued without incident.
Police would like to thank the good samaritan for his boating skills and supporting police to enact this rescue mission.
