A Toowoomba man has been charged for allegedly crashing into four cars and a pole while armed with a machete and scissors at Beenleigh on Tuesday.
The man allegedly drove recklessly at several different points in Beenleigh before leaving his vehicle on Logan St, where he ran away
The man was taken to Logan Community Hospital in a stable condition for observation, before he was transferred to the Beenleigh Watchhouse.
A 37-year-old female driver suffered minor rib pain to her right side after being injured by the Rockville man, who was driving a 2011 blue Holden Cruze.
The man has now been charged with two counts of going armed to cause fear and one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, obstructing police and possessing dangerous drugs.
He appeared at Beenleigh Magistrates Court earlier on Wednesday.
