Cops recruiting virtually

  • Brian Lowe is an experienced journalist with a background in both broadcast and digital media. He has worked in both Australia and the United States, has hosted podcasts and has reported on a wide range of issues during his career.

The Queensland Police Service (QPS) has launched a new virtual recruiting seminar to connect with aspiring police officers across Queensland, including Logan City and the Scenic Rim, in a COVID-safe way.

The virtual seminar allows for anyone to learn about pursuing a career within the Queensland Police Service from rural and remote parts of the state and beyond.

The 20 minute video-based seminar explains exactly what it takes to be a Queensland Police officer and provides important information about the expectation of the QPS for all of its officers and employees.

You’ll also get a chance to hear from some serving Queensland Police officers who talk about their experiences joining the QPS, as well as their exciting roles within the Service.

The seminar can be accessed at any time via the QPS YouTube channel, or you can click here to go straight to the video.
