A 24-year old Boronia Heights man is due to appear in court next month following alleged hooning.
Browns Plains Police last Friday seized a black Ford Falcon utility alleged to have been used in numerous hooning incidents around the Boronia Heights area.
Police had received a high number of complaints from concerned and fed-up community members highlighting the driver’s alleged behaviour while driving the vehicle which included burnouts in suburban streets.

With assistance from POLAIR, police were able to track the vehicle and identify the alleged driver.
Police attended a residence in Mack Court, Boronia Heights and subsequently, a 24-year-old Boronia Heights man was charged with offences including wilfully driving a vehicle causing unnecessary noise or smoke, unregistered vehicle and driving whilst disqualified.
He is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on November 20.
Browns Plains Police sincerely thank the local community for coming forward to report this behaviour.
“Several members of the public have contacted Browns Plains Police to provide details in relation to this matter and the actions of the driver,” Sergeant Shane Clark said.
“Without the assistance of these people, a prosecution is difficult to achieve.”

Any photographic or video evidence will substantially assist in bringing these offenders to justice.
