Initial investigations suggest there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding a fatal unit fire in Logan City.
A 73-year old woman died in the early morning blaze in Woodridge.
She had used her health bracelet to alert first responders, who initially got her out of the unit on Ewing Road just before 2 o’clock Thursday morning, however, they were not able to resuscitate her.
Fire investigators have since been working to determine the cause of the fire.
It has been reported that a cigarette butt was found in the unit.
