Logan City’s Lee has Origin debut to remember

Logan City’s Edrick Lee has had a debut to remember for Queensland in Wednesday night’s series decider at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.

The winger scored a try in the first half.

It came off a muffed kick by five-eighth Cameron Munster that was actually meant for Lee’s cousin, Brenko Lee, in the centres.

The ball took a fortuitous bounce for the winger, who ran it in for the the score to put the Maroons in front 12-6 at halftime.

Late in the game, Lee made a try-saving tackle that preserved Queensland’s lead.

The Maroons were able to hold on for a 20-14 win to clinch their first series title since 2017.
