Police have charged a 21-year-old Bethania man following an armed robbery at a service station in Waterford.
Police allege the man entered the store around lunchtime on Tuesday and threatened the 52 year old female store attendant with a knife.
The man then fled the store with a sum of cash… but was tracked down by officers, after receiving a tip off.
The man was charged with armed robbery – the employee was not hurt.
