Car slams into Logan City home injuring two

Residents of a home in Crestmead have had a lucky escape from serious injury when a car crashed into their house on Monday night.

It happened before 9 o’clock at a house off Trulson Drive and Browns Plains Road.

Police say the car was allegedly stolen and the people inside it initially took off after ploughing into the front of the home.

Two women were later found by police.

Two people with minor injuries were taken to Logan Hospital in a stable condition.

According to neighbors, it is the second time in about ten years that a car has careered into the same home.
