Goondiwindi Regional Council Mayor, Lawrence Springborg says he’s expecting more local cases of COVID-19 today.
The border town recorded three local cases yesterday linked to a cluster in the northern News Wales Town of Moree.
The Queensland Government has moved swiftly by banning residents from that town entering the state as part of the border bubble.

Cr Springborg believes the outbreak in Moree is higher than the 33 reported cases.
