Covid confirmed in Logan City

A four-year-old girl in Logan City has tested positive to Covid-19.

She’s a known close contact of the 46 year old Logan City truck driver who triggered an alert this week., tested positive for the virus this afternoon.

The truck driver, who is believed to have infected the girl, was deemed to have been infectious in the community for five days.

This prompted Queensland Health to list several exposure sights in Beenleigh and Bundamba.

The early learning centre is also used for after-school care for children at Windaroo State School in Logan City.

Students, staff and visitors who’ve been at Windaroo State School from Tuesday to Friday, and all their household members, now need to quarantine for 14 days.
