Double the legal limit

A man’s due to face the Beaudesert Magistrates court today (Tuesday) on drink driving charges after allegedly blowing more than double the legal limit after crashing his car earlier this month.  

The Flagstone man was allegedly driving a landcruiser that hit a Suzuki swift on September 19,  at the corner of Wildmint Drive and Timberline Way.

Police say the driver was arrested after the crash and taken back to the Jimboomba Police station.

It’s alleged,  he recorded a blood alcohol reading of .116
