A 73-year old woman has died in an early morning unit fire in Logan City.
The blaze took hold of the unit on Ewing Road, Woodridge just before 2 o’clock Thursday morning.
Fire and ambulance crews tried to resuscitate the elderly woman at the scene, but she couldn’t be revived.
Earlier on Wednesday night, there was another house fire at Hillcrest.
That fire broke out at a home on Peverell Street and Argule Street just after 8:30pm.
No one required medical treatment, although paramedics remained on standby as a precaution.
