The 33-year-old Flagstone truck driver who died in a crash at Tamborine early yesterday morning is being remembered as ‘one of a kind’ by his family and friends.
Damien Otto, was driving along Waterford Tamborine Road , near Logan around 5.40 am on Monday when the prime mover veered off the road, hit a tree and rolled down an embankment.
Police pronounced him dead at the scene.

Mr Otto grew up in Goondiwindi and attended the local state school before moving to Flagstone.
It’s believed he drove for Williamsons Bros Furniture Removals.
On Social media one unnamed member of his family said: “He was truly one of a kind, with such a big sense of humour and a big heart”.
Police investigations into the crash are continuing. Anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to phone Police Link on 131 444.
