Help shape Logan’s growth

The community is invited to learn more about how development and growth is managed across Logan.

Community consultation begins this month on key elements to help shape Logan City  Council’s proposed new Logan Plan 2025.

Logan Plan 2025 will be the city’s latest planning scheme to guide development,  enhance natural areas and ensure housing, jobs and infrastructure are delivered as  the city grows.

Planning Chair, Councilor Jon Raven, says it’s important for the community to  understand the way the city is planned and how the new planning scheme can work.

“The planning scheme impacts everyone who lives or works in the City of Logan,  along with those who visit us or do business here. Yet it’s something many people  ignore until it’s too late.”

“Logan Plan 2025 will help Council decide when, where and how development  happens. Logan is growing rapidly and this plan will shape the future of our city  leading up to and beyond the 2032 Olympics.”

Council has launched an online interactive portal to make it easier for residents and  business owners to learn more about Logan Plan 2025 and provide input.

Community engagement sessions are also planned across a range of venues. To  access information and register for events go to Planning Engagement Events

Cr Raven says, “Community and industry feedback is critical. We want the people and businesses of  Logan to get involved and help us design a brighter future.”
